  1. Thank you so much for your fine book! I am thoroughly enjoying it and benefiting from its diagnostic tools and great solutions already.

I wrote a book review on our native plant blog, tmousecmouse.blogspot.com. I certainly give you high marks for good info, excellently presented, and a wonderful diagnostic section.

Have you read Bringing Nature Home: How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in Our Gardens by Douglas W. Tallamy? I feel sure you would agree with his outlook, though it isn’t really present in your book, maybe because of your topic, which begins with problems, and not with a state of balance. I do commend it to you if you have not read it yet.

    Thanks again.

  2. Thank you so much for your great review of our book! I’m going to post a link to your review on our blog asap.

I have not yet read Bringing Nature Home but it is a topic near and dear to my heart. I founded a native plant nursery (Plants of the Southwest, Inc.) in Santa Fe, NM, in 1977 and am one of the founding fathers of the Native Plant Society of New Mexico. I also lecture frequently on the topic of landscaping with native plants and the importance of reconnecting our gardens (and our hearts) to the natural ecosystem that surrounds and sustains us all.

    Thanks again.
