Speaking Engagements 2016
We’re speaking at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show this year on Friday, February 19, at 5:45 pm in the Rainier Room. Our topic is “The Best Houseplants Ever!” The secrets to success with houseplants. It’s at the Seattle Convention Center as usual. We look forward to seeing you there.
The Northwest Flower and Garden Show is the second biggest flower show in the whole country with more than 80,000 people attending. The show is an incredible opportunity to see magnificent display gardens, look at flowers, gardening equipment and tools to purchase, and to attend highly informative (and entertaining) seminars like ours.
We’re also teaching all day long training seminars for the Master Gardeners of Pierce County (Tacoma) on Friday, January 22, at the Allmendinger Center at the Washington State University Puyallup Research and Extension Center, 2606 W. Pioneer, Puyallup, Washington. The 3 hour morning session will be on Botany Basics and the 3 hour afternoon session will be on Plant Identification where we’ll get to take flowers apart and learn about their structures.
We’ll be presenting the same all day long training seminars for the Master Gardeners of King County (Seattle) on Saturday, February 13, at the University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture. These Master Gardener Training classes are really fun. We love to present them and the students always appreciate them.
